Amulett: Hope you get permission from the owner. It's be a shame if you didn't after all your hard work. You're not the first person to make a boo boo. As you have probably gathered I did the same thing once, though fortunately escaped reprecussions. Copyright is a tricky issue on the net because the rules are different for different countries.

Amulett: Yeah, that is a funky front page. You should be proud of the animation. Do you have the permission of the artist who did the painting to use it on your site? If you don't you could be endangering copyright. It's best to be paranoid about this. It would be nice if the rest of the site followed a set format I really like the layout of this journal actually. Perhaps you could extend something along the same lines onto your site. I really love the hidden elements on your front page they real

Well after finally whipping the flu bug and a horrid absessed tooth, not to mention the untimely death of my little dog, you guys have been seriously supportive, and for that I personally thank you.

Turns out amulett was right in that the graphix I used as the basis for my front page is copywrited. So, several days ago, (Even though I did change the picture signifigantly enough that it may not be considered theirs any longer, I'm not sure) I sent an email of apology to the copywrite owners, and stated that I would do whatever they desired concerning the graphic piece in question. I figured that I should them my intention to cooperate fully with their wishes and leave the ball in their court, they might decide to be merciful with me and give me writes to the one use of this one pic. It has been four business days, and still no response. This is concerning. Oh well.

You guys take it easy and have a good weekend....
